A strong visual narration is mandatory and it is built upon an understanding of the designer’s direction, the users’ experiences and the conditions that govern the site.
Care is also taken to acknowledge the greatest effort during construction and bring to light the heart work of the client.
SERVICES
Jimmy works with still images and moving films, and undertakes projects across sectors and sizes. He is based in Singapore and available for assignment across Asia.
Still Photography only starts from SGD$350. Fee increases according to size of project and number of photos required.
Video Production only starts from SGD$1180. For in-depth narrative and interview content, more charges apply.
Stills and video production starts from SGD$1530 for a full day of engagement. Fee increases according to length of engagement and other variables as stated above.
PRINCIPAL CREATIVE
Jimmy Tan is a visual artist, designer and a trained architectural professional. His current creative practice encompassed a broad range of projects in Singapore, working equally between still images, films, creative direction and other digital media.
Former practice in architecture after graduation from NUS Architecture school has brought him through various stages in a building cycle, allowing him to appreciate architectural and interior design from a different lens and influencing his methodology for photography.
His other passion lies in storytelling through film production, and a self-taught journey led to his pursuit in cinematic under Jimmy Tan Pictures since 2019, having worked on small commercials, corporate videos and wedding films.
Outside of his profession, he goes out to different parts of the world to climb rock, photograph his travel experience and navigate cultures.
